Bequia is a very special Island.
It is located approximately nine miles off the southern tip of St.Vincent. It is just about ten miles by one mile in size
(the largest of the Grenadines island ) but it has remarkable charm and an astounding amount of attraction to offer. Its pint
-size town, Port Elizabeth, has one of the most appealing and most atmospheric water -front in the Caribbean. During the in
season (tourism), hundreds of yachts anchor in the bay and the sailors from the yachts aid in maintaining the liveliness of
the bars and restaurant that stretch along the shoreline walk-way. The in season
in Bequia runs from December to May
but the island has an almost supernatural charm that makes it lovely to visit at any time of the year. The incredible amount
of yachts that visit Bequia gives an indication of the need for complete marina services on the island.
